Agency launches first-time buyer month
AN estate agency is specifically aiming to persuade first-timers that maybe
the housing market isn't such a difficult proposition for them, after all.
Robinson and Jackson, with a 30-office and department network in the South
East of England, will have teams in place holding 'first time buyer workshops'
at selected branches this month to advise and assist possible first time buyers
who may have been persuaded by recent publicity that it is impossible or undesirable
for them to buy now.
From March 13 to 16, branches at Bexleyheath, Catford, Dartford, Gravesend,
Strood and Sittingbourne will hold open days from 2 till 7 pm inviting local
fist time buyers in for wine and nibbles via promotions in the local press, leaflets
,banners and a special messages on the website.
Specific first time buyer properties will be identified and labelled and
a 'Top Tips for First Time Buyers' pamphlet has been produced.
Founding partner Peter Jackson said: "We have built our reputation
over two generations assisting buyers who would not otherwise have benefited
from home ownership.
"I'm proud that we are continuing this tradition despite the so-called
'property experts' constantly and inaccurately predicting gloom, doom and disaster
for those buying now.
"The fact is that home ownership is a life changing and shaping event
and any short term dip in the market should not be feared by first time buyers,
but exploited to their benefit by taking advantage of the current good choice
so rarely available in recent years."
His long term partner Alan Robinson added" "This is not an arm-twisting
exercise but a genuine attempt to give sound and qualified advice to current
and future buyers of the realities and the benefits of home ownership.
"I have no doubt that some of the people we see will indeed not be
able to buy at present, but at least they will benefit from our knowledge and
perhaps return to us in the future as a trusted supplier when they are ready
and able to buy.
"At the moment we can still offer some fantastic mortgage deals and
some real property 'snips'."
