For the 15th year running, Countrywide plc is the UK’s largest residential estate agency. Their total includes 111 franchised offices.

*Chesterton Humberts is the new name for the group formed when Chesterton acquired 34 of Humberts’ 81 offices. The table placing last year refers to that of Humberts.

* At the Network’s request, the Home Sale Network total now includes 'referral members' as well as 'selected members', whereas in previous years the total has included 'selected members' only. Last year, as well as 754 selected members as published there were 260 referral members. This year, the 939 total includes 296 referral members, with the selected membership now 643.
